From schools and nurseries to sensory lessons, maths tuition, sports clubs and cookery classes there are a huge range of businesses providing educational, supportive and enjoyable activities for children and young people.
There are also hundreds of businesses creating new products to benefit children and amazing ideas to help new parents and solve problems.
We thought it was about time the wonderful people behind these businesses were recognised and honoured for the hard work they put in – so the Businesses for Children Awards were born.
