Beaumont Lawrence got sponsorship in the bag early

As a third-generation Shropshire business, family is at the heart of what we do.

We appreciate and recognise family values and that’s why we wanted to continue our sponsorship of the Business for Children’s Awards (BCAs) for the third year running.

Previously Beaumont Lawrence has sponsored individual awards at the ceremony but this year we wanted to really show our support by becoming one of the main event sponsors.

That’s why we have put our name to the 300 goodie bags, which will be given to all delegates who attend the awards on March 12 at the Park Inn Hotel, Telford.

We started our business in 1973 and ever since then, it’s been important for us to make ties in the local community and connect with other businesses, who share our values in family life.

We are a local broker, run by people who live in the area, and we enjoy servicing local clients in our economy and helping them in business.

We keep things local with suppliers such as Shrewsbury-based Pure Telecom, Wellington-based J&PR Ltd and Shrewsbury firm Clear Design.

Beaumont Lawrence enjoys supporting the community and has also sponsored the Shrewsbury Grand Prix and the Shrewsbury Flower Show.

But as a father of three children, the BCAs are incredibly important to me as they honour organisations across the county, which educate, support or provide activities for youngsters.

It’s great to know there are people out there ready to help if you need them and as parents, it certainly helps to know who is at the top of their game.

Last year, Beaumont Lawrence supported the Children’s Charity category and made the winners, Hope House, our charity of the year.

This year, we can’t wait to hear all about the winners and to celebrate with them at the BCA’s ceremony. Events like this make us so proud to be part of the Shropshire business community.
